2 Injured When Motorcycle, Car Collide
CYPRESS — A motorcyclist collided with a car Tuesday night, sending two people to the hospital in critical condition with head and neck injuries, police said.
Motorcyclist Sean Charles Pfeiffer, 21, collided with a car driven by Esther Kim, 54, after Kim pulled her car onto the 6300 block of Orange Avenue from a driveway, police said.
The 6:22 p.m. collision sent Pfeiffer, who was wearing a helmet, flying from his motorcycle.
Kim’s car was damaged just behind the left door, Sgt. Ray Peterson said.
Both were taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, Peterson said.
Police said they were investigating the cause of the collision.
