Standard Logic’s Profit Rockets

Standard Logic Inc., an Anaheim-based maker of electronic packaging components, reported that its first-quarter profit grew nearly tenfold to $425,597 from $42,901 a year earlier.
The company reported earnings per share for the quarter of 49 cents, compared to 5 cents per share a year earlier. Sales tripled to $861,045 from $282,354 a year earlier.
The company attributed the growth to sales of components to General Electric Co.
