HemaCare Posts Earnings of $80,000 in 4th Quarter
HemaCare Corp., a Sherman Oaks provider of blood-related products and services, reported a profit of $80,000 for its fiscal fourth quarter that ended Dec. 31. A year earlier, HemaCare lost $566,000.
Revenue increased 71% to $2.73 million from $1.59 million in the fourth quarter of 1990.
For all of 1991, HemaCare reported that its losses narrowed to $231,000 from $1.09 million in the previous year. Revenue climbed 32%, to $8.99 million from $6.83 million.
HemaCare said its improved financial results reflected continued growth in its core businesses.
