SOUTHERN SECTION SOCCER PLAYOFFS : Woodbridge Girls to Play Loara in 4-A Wild-Card Match Today

The Woodbridge girls’ soccer team, which finished tied for first in the Sea View League with Corona del Mar, will play host to Loara today in a Southern Section Division 4-A wild-card match.
Because of an error by the Sea View League, Woodbridge originally entered the playoffs as the third-place team and was given a road match. In the adjusted pairings, Newport Harbor, the actual third-place team, will play a wild-card match today at Glendora St. Lucy’s.
In other 4-A wild-card matches today involving county teams:
Santa Margarita is at Marina, Chino Don Lugo is at Mater Dei, Ocean View is at Mission Viejo and Dana Hills is at Los Alamitos.
In the 3-A, La Quinta plays host to Long Beach Millikan.
