189 Million Americans of Voting Age Projected

WASHINGTON — The Census Bureau reports that 189 million Americans will be old enough to vote in November, 6.3 million more than were eligible for the 1988 presidential election. The bureau projected that 160.3 million eligible voters are white, 21.5 million black and 7.2 million of another race.
