The International Olympic Committee said that Italy’s gold and silver medals in the men’s Alpine combined, which was completed Tuesday, would stand, despite a pending protest by France that the sponsor logos on the Italians’ ski suits were larger than allowed. IOC officials warned Italy, however, to reduce the size of their logos within 48 hours.
