Hemingway Haunts

Jerry Hulse’s Jan. 19 Travel Tips column responded to a reader’s inquiry about the name of a restaurant in Madrid used by Hemingway. It is probably true that “Papa” was seen in a number of pubs/cafes and restaurants and you gave the name Restaurant Botin (Casa Botin). However, I think the correct response should be El Callejon, a place filled to the brim with Hemingway memorabilia. I doubt that anyone would visit Casa Botin for anything but the suckling pig and the atmosphere you described.
