NEIGHBOR WATCH: It was welcome news to Anaheim that baseball’s Giants will move to San Jose to play in a stadium not yet built. Anaheim is trying to persuade major sports teams to come play in a 19,000-seat arena not yet built. . . . “What happened in San Jose is encouraging,” says John Nicoletti, marketing director for the new arena, scheduled for mid-1993. . . . “But we’ll be successful even without a major franchise. We’ll fill up with concerts and family-type shows.”
