‘Celebrity Etiquette’ and the Mystery Man in the Big Rolls-Royce

Rip Rense’s “Celebrity Etiquette” (Jan. 5) offers the best advice available on the treatment of celebrities.
Let’s face it, the only thing an actor owes his public is a good performance, nothing more. If you’re tempted to run over and disrupt someone’s privacy for an autograph, resist the urge even though it is difficult.
Admire the actor from a distance as a form of respect from an appreciative fan. Don’t act like you just fell off the turnip truck. Show some class.
