Innocent Play Loaded With Danger

The photo of the Fagen family (Dec. 28) caught my eye and required this note.
I am sure that this “happy family” is not aware of the danger of swinging a child by the arms. It reminded me of the time my uncle did this with his 3 1/2-year-old daughter, resulting in his losing the sight of his eye by detaching the retina and my cousin dislocating her shoulder.
Please advise Mr. Fagen and all parents of the dangers of this activity. It could be considered child abuse.
