Police Chief Thanks Toys for Tots Donors

This is a sincere letter of thanks to all of you who recently donated to the South Pasadena Police Department’s Toys for Tots program. The number of toys that was collected and turned over to the Marine Corps for distribution was way beyond my expectations.
Toys were brought to the Police Station by local service clubs, Rotary and Kiwanis in particular, and other area organizations such as the Shriners. Several bags of toys were collected by students at South Pasadena High School, Marengo School and from the Alhambra School District.
Police personnel and City Hall employees brought us toys, and there were literally dozens of kind and thoughtful citizens that came to the front counter at all hours of the day and night to drop off one or two gifts for the program.
