The Sound of UCLA Music: The year-end broadcast of the CBS Evening News tonight will feature a five-minute original music composition by the wind ensemble band of the UCLA music department. Directed by Thomas Lee, the musical score accompanies a review of the major news events of 1991. CBS’ Warren Lustig edited the montage of video and music, which also features UCLA student musicians performing the score.
