Rams Need to Resign Themselves to More Than Coaching Change
It is a damn shame and a very sad day for American sports when a fine coach and thoroughly honorable man such as John Robinson is forced to resign because the owner of the Rams is more interested in fashionable boutiques and personal financial and social concerns than she is in sporting excellence and community pride.
Under present management, it makes not one bit of difference who coaches this blighted team. If the Rams could persuade the great Rockne, himself, to return from permanent retirement to undertake this melancholy task, the results would be the same, for it is not the coach or the team members who are the losers, it is the owner.
