Black reveals a curious mistrust of the left when he says “12 rich countries walled off from a vast wretched hinterland whose peoples--Turks, Yugoslavs, North Africans--are no longer welcome, even to do dirty jobs that whites won’t.†Is Black seriously saying that one’s race is defined by one’s wealth; that unless one is “rich†one can’t be white? Turks, Yugoslavs and Arabs will be astounded to find out that they are not Caucasians.
The left’s obsession with money is further exemplified by Black’s automatic terming as “wretched†anyone who is not rich by his definition. Very sad. Very pathological.
