Cuba, Ukraine Sign Trade Agreement

HAVANA — Cuba and the newly independent Ukraine have signed their first agreement, calling for economic collaboration and their intention to trade over the next three years, the Cuban news agency Prensa Latina reported Sunday.
A joint Cuban-Ukrainian statement quoted by the news agency said both nations are prepared to work “to increase mutually advantageous ties and to establish contracts between enterprises.”
