In other Irvine World News tournament games:
Irvine 67, San Pedro 53--Eric Ambrozich had 20 points and 10 rebounds and Jado Lee added 19 point for Irvine in a second-round game.
Irvine will play Woodbridge, a 63-54 winner over Esperanza, in a semifinal at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Woodbridge.
Edison 69, University 56--Forward Brandon Jessie had 30 points and 17 rebounds to lead the Chargers (4-2) to an easy victory.
Westminster 57, Santa Ana Valley 55--Brian Mann scored 23 points and Brady Okura added 10 points for the Lions (4-2) in a consolation-round game.
Marina 105, Orange Lutheran 78--Darren Crooks scored 31 points and Matt Keim added 30 for Marina (4-3) at Irvine High School. Keim had a game-high six three-pointers.
Laguna Beach 48, San Ramon 29--Darren Gravly had 12 points and Brad Berberian had 10 points and 10 rebounds for Laguna Beach (3-2).
San Clemente 60, Santa Ana 54--Marcus Guild scored 32 points and Morgan Bannister had 14 points and 15 rebounds for San Clemente in a consolation-round game.
In the Fullerton tournament:
Saddleback 78, Thousand Oaks 74--Chris Bradshaw had 20 points, Jason Register had 17 points and Luis Estrella had 15 for Saddleback in a first-round game.
Fullerton 73, Pacifica 43--Pablo Garza scored 18 points as Fullerton won its first-round game. Fullerton plays Saddleback tonight at 7:30 p.m. in one championship semifinal, Western and Buena Park play at 6 p.m. in the other.
In the Sonora tournament:
Troy 56, Whittier Christian 52 (OT)--Whittier Christian outscored Troy, 18-12, in the fourth quarter to send the teams to overtime tied at 51-51. But Whittier Christian scored only one point in overtime. Jim Falletta scored 15 points and Randy Abbott had 13 for Troy.
In nonleague play:
Foothill 52, El Toro 48--Mike Busalacchi had 17 points for Foothill (5-4), which trailed, 35-33, after three quarters. Eddie Rikimaru scored 21 points for El Toro.
St. Margaret’s 48, San Diego Francis Parker 40--Ravi Murthyunjaya scored 17 points for host St. Margaret’s (2-4). Murthyunjaya made three three-point shots.
