Thousand Oaks Names Farrell Track Coach

Jack Farrell, the boys’ cross-country coach at Thousand Oaks High for 15 of the past 17 years and the girls’ coach for nine of the past 11, will replace John Hansen as the Lancer boys’ track and field coach in the spring.
Hansen, who guided Thousand Oaks to the Southern Section 3-A Division championship last spring, is on a medical leave of absence for a year.
Todd Zeile, third baseman for the St. Louis Cardinals and a Hart High graduate, will sign autographs at a baseball card show today at his alma mater in Newhall.
The show will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Hart baseball and football programs.
Zeile batted .280 and drove in 81 runs for St. Louis in 1991.
