The most popular player in the history of the Angel franchise is gone. A class person, the heart and soul of the team, the smiling first baseman who brought happiness to so many fans, especially children, has been made to feel so unwanted, he has left.
Jackie and Gene Autry have done Wally Joyner a huge favor. He can escape this dismal, depressing and losing organization and continue on to where he no doubt will be greatly appreciated by management.
