SANTA ANA — A 16-year-old boy was stabbed several times Thursday night and was in serious condition during an apparent gang-related argument, police said.
The youth, who was not identified because of his age, was in surgery late Thursday at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, Sgt. Dave Petko said.
He said the stabbing occurred about 7:30 p.m. in the 2400 block of Evergreen Street after a male assailant approached the victim and the two began arguing.
The police are investigating the stabbing, and no one has been arrested, Petko said.
