Armstrong to Head Board

Ann Armstrong was elected president of the San Diego Unified School District board of trustees Tuesday for 1992.
Susan Davis was elected vice president of the five-member board by her colleagues.
The posts are largely ceremonial, with the president representing trustees at community meetings, groundbreakings and other events.
