UCLA Loses in Poll After Winning on Court

UCLA(3-0) beat Pepperdine, 98-58, Saturday, and Associated Press basketball poll voters were so impressed that they dropped the Bruins from second to third in the weekly balloting, released Monday.
Duke (4-0) remained atop the poll, for the first time unanimously, and UCLA was replaced as No. 2 by Arizona (3-0), an 87-67 winner over Louisiana State.
Ohio State was fourth, followed by North Carolina, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Connecticut, Kentucky and Utah.
