Gasoline Prices Drop: The nationwide average price of unleaded regular gasoline at self-service pumps dropped nearly a cent this week as prices fell in New England and the Midwest, the American Automobile Assn. said. The association said the average price for self-serve unleaded regular was off 0.9 cent at $1.133 a gallon. The nationwide average price for self-serve regular leaded gas was up 0.8 cent to $1.092 a gallon.
