Klein Shoots 76, Qualifies for Match Play

Emilee Klein of Studio City fired a four-over par 76 Friday, finishing second and qualifying for match play in the 14th Rolex Junior Classic in Tucson.

Klein completed two rounds of stroke play with a seven-over par 151, three shots behind Estefania Knuth of Spain.

In the boys’ competition, Jason Gore of Valencia advanced to match play after finishing in a three-way tie for 14th place with a 14-over par 158, 10 shots behind medalist Gilbert Morales of Venezuela.
