Countywide : Man Gets 13 Years for Bank Robberies
A Camarillo man was sentenced to 13 years and two months in federal prison followed by three years in a work-release program for robbing four banks in Ventura County, federal authorities said Friday.
Raymond J. Hoslett, 29, also was sentenced Nov. 27 to 10 years to be served concurrently on firearms charges related to the robberies, authorities said.
Hoslett was convicted Aug. 27 of robbing the Bank of America on East Ojai Avenue in Ojai on Jan. 4, 1990; American Commercial Bank, East Main Street, Ventura, Jan. 9, 1990; Home Savings of America, South Victoria Avenue, Ventura, Feb. 8, 1990; and Santa Barbara Savings and Loan, Esplanade Drive, Oxnard, Feb. 8, 1990, authorities said.
Hoslett was identified by photographs obtained by bank surveillance cameras, authorities said.
