THE DEEP: About 15,000 county schoolchildren are about to get a chance to see the JASON Project (E1), a high-tech undersea voyage off the Galapagos Islands. It’ll be a live broadcast from the deep--the kind of instruction, says county math and science coordinator Ed Rodevich, that’s “a piece of what we’re going to see tomorrow. The key is going to be the teacher; to make sure it’s not a onetime thing or a high-tech video game.”
