3 Die in Quebec Trying to Steal Power Lines

MONTREAL — Three Quebec men were electrocuted trying to steal copper wire from a live power line 270 miles north of Montreal, police said Friday.
Two others were injured by the electric charge of 120,000 volts, police said.
Police said that people often try to steal the copper wire from little-used lines and resell it.
