UC Irvine Rallies to Defeat USD

SAN DIEGO — After winning the first game, the USD women’s volleyball team fell apart as UC Irvine defeated the Toreras, 12-15, 15-3, 15-8, 15-7, in a match at UC Irvine’s Crawford Hall.
Irvine (10-16) was led by Dana Chalais (14 kills) and by Scotleen Risley (11), and as a team had 54 kills.
USD (17-13) managed only 31 kills. Nikki Wallace led with eight.
