Abba Zabba Jab Wins Commodores Race

DANA POINT — Walter Clap skippered the Alamitos Bay Yacht Club’s Abba Zabba Jab to victory in the fifth Commodores yacht race Saturday in Dana Point Harbor.
Abba Zabba Jab completed the course in 2 hours 17 minutes 58 seconds, 37 seconds ahead of Adrenalin of the San Diego Yacht Club, skippered by Sandy Purdon. The top Orange County finisher was the Dana Point Yacht Club’s Phantom, which Tom Tyre skippered to ninth.
