An Education in Road Work

Recently, the Los Angeles street maintenance division was doing some road repair work near my house. My son was naturally curious, as 4-year-old boys are, so we went out to watch.
Well, we didn’t learn a whole lot about road repair, but we did learn that:
* This particular crew knew every four-letter word.
* Road repair workers like to urinate on their equipment.
* And if you need gas for your private car, you can just take some in a gas can from the city truck.
It was quite an education.
