Golden West Sweeps DeAnza in Volleyball

Brenda Irby had 18 kills as Golden West swept DeAnza in the championship match of the College of the Sequoias women’s volleyball tournament Sunday in Visalia.
Kalen Hyater had 11 kills for Golden West, which won, 16-14, 15-6, 15-11. The Rustlers, the top-ranked team in the state, are 18-0.
