HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL ROUNDUP : Dotson Gains 326 More Yards, Scores Four Times

David Dotson, Valley View High of Moreno Valley’s record-setting running back, rushed for 326 yards in 35 carries and scored four touchdowns as the Eagles remained undefeated by beating Bloomington, 40-0, in a Sunkist League game at Bloomington Friday night.
Dotson, who set a state-rushing record with 507 yards in a 56-0 victory over Lake Arrowhead Rim of the World last week, has 2,612 yards in 234 carries and 36 touchdowns this season, and a state-record 6,333 yards in his career.
Valley View improved to 4-0 in league and 7-0 overall. Bloomington is 2-2 and 3-4.
Bloomington was the last team to hold Dotson to fewer than 200 yards, limiting the 5-foot-11, 190-pound senior to 84 yards in 39 carries last season.
Running behind an offensive line that averages 245 pounds, Dotson had 218 yards at halftime.
