With four touchdown passes against Arizona last Saturday night at the Rose Bowl, UCLA quarterback Tommy Maddox has now thrown 28 in 16 games dating to 1990.
He is fourth on the all-time Bruin list in touchdown passes, one behind Dennis Dummit, 1969-70.
Maddox ranks third in passing efficiency and total offense in the Pacific 10 Conference with 233 yards a game.
UCLA reserve defensive end Cory Wayland underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Wednesday and is probably lost for the rest of the season.
