Barry London has been named president of the Motion Picture Group/Worldwide Distribution for Paramount Pictures. London is being handed the additional responsibilities for Paramount’s home video and foreign distribution divisions in addition to his current responsibilities of overseeing the studio’s domestic marketing and distribution operations. A 20-year veteran of Paramount, London had been president of the studio’s Motion Picture Group since November, 1980. The announcement is the latest in a series of management shuffles at Paramount since Brandon Tartikoff took over the studio in July.
