Santa Paula 25, Montclair Prep 14--Santa Paula scored twice late in the game to upend the Mounties at Santa Paula.
Trailing, 14-12, the Cardinals capped a 10-play, 62-yard drive on Eddie Rabago’s five-yard run to take an 18-14 lead with 6:07 left. Less than two minutes later, the Cardinals scored again when cornerback Danny Alcantar intercepted a pass and returned it 20 yards for a touchdown.
Rabago had 115 yards and two touchdowns in 23 carries.
The Mounties had touchdown runs of one yard by Michael Lincavage and 44 yards by Kimo Atkins.
