Game Time Changes Again at Chatsworth

The start time of the high school football game between Chatsworth and Kennedy has been changed for the second day in a row. The Northwest Valley Conference opener is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Chatsworth.
The game originally had been scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday, but Chatsworth officials rescheduled the game to 2:30 p.m. after fighting among students broke out on campus Monday. Campus police used Mace to quell the violence after about 50 students engaged in a campuswide melee that pitted black and Latino students against one another.
Chatsworth officials rescheduled the game to 4:30 because of the unseasonable heat expected to grip the area through the rest of the week.
