Banning Gangs From Public Park
So, Dist. Atty. Ira Reiner has a plan to save our parks from dangerous gangs (Commentary, Sept. 25). And all it’s going to cost Americans is their freedom under the Bill of Rights. The color of clothes or tattoos one wears doesn’t automatically brand one as a dangerous gang member.
Whether it’s the home, the streets or the parks, crime has no borders. Sensible leadership allows people to enjoy Central Park in New York. Concerned citizens and police patrols will return Las Palmas Park to the people of San Fernando.
