LOVE-ZERO: Health officials have been worried for years about out-of-shape students (E3), and now budget cuts are putting a strain on physical education in Orange County. At Fountain Valley High School, for example, classes such as dry-land skiing, tennis and bicycling have been dropped. . . . “Juniors and seniors aren’t even allowed to take PE,” says PE chairwoman Carol Strausburg. “We’re trying again to set up an elective program, but it isn’t easy.”
