AIDS Announcement: KCOP Channel 13 in Los Angeles plans to begin airing a public-service announcement by AIDS Project Los Angeles that promotes the use of condoms to prevent the spread of AIDS, station manager Rick Feldman said. Feldman said the announcement, which has been shunned by the major television networks and most local stations because it uses the word rubber , will begin airing as soon as the station works out the details with the AIDS group.
