ROUNDUP : Barnum, Dice Combine for 5 Scores in 47-0 Alemany Win
Led by five touchdowns by Terry Barnum and Richard Dice, Alemany High overwhelmed Hoover, 47-0, Friday night in a nonleague game at Alemany.
Barnum rushed for 190 yards and three touchdowns in 16 carries. Barnum, who rushed for 107 yards in the first quarter, scored on runs of nine, 23, and 38 yards before sitting out the fourth quarter. Dice had a first-quarter punt return of 49 yards for a touchdown and added a 44-yard touchdown reception from Adam Romandi.
Alemany (2-1) posted its second consecutive shutout and the Indians have outscored the opposition, 100-0, in its past two games.
Hoover (0-3), which has yet to score a touchdown this season, was limited to three first downs and 68 yards in total offense. Bob Rangusuelosin was Hoover’s leading rusher, gaining 53 yards in seven carries.
