Amplicon Posts 32% Gain for Year

Amplicon Inc., the Santa Ana computer leasing and sales company, reported earnings of $7.4 million, or $1.26 per share, for its fiscal year ended June 30, up 32% from $5.6 million, or 93 cents per share, a year earlier.

Revenue declined 2% to $155.7 million from $158.3 million. For the fourth quarter, the company earned $2 million, or 35 cents per share, on revenue of $36.7 million.

This compares to earnings of $1.7 million, or 29 cents per share, on revenue of $46.7 million a year earlier.
