Two men were arrested Thursday on suspicion of attempted murder in the bludgeoning of a Burbank man who was beaten with a baseball bat after a fight erupted at his house during a Labor Day party, Burbank police said.
Eduardo Solorzano, 21, of Pacoima and Brandon Solis, 19, of Los Angeles were being held without bail at Burbank City Jail, said Detective Eric Rosoff.
Anthony Graham, 29, was in critical condition Thursday at St. Joseph Medical Center, where he underwent emergency surgery two days earlier for head injuries, Rosoff said.
Solorzano and Solis were arrested at a house in the 9000 block of Cedros Avenue, near Nordhoff Street in Panorama City, where officers found Graham’s 1986 Isuzu, Rosoff said. The men also are accused of stealing Graham’s car.
Police found Graham comatose at his home in the 1600 block of North Avon Street on Tuesday after a friend reported him missing. Police later discovered a bloodied baseball bat in his front yard, Rosoff said.
