Baby’s Pain Hopefully Over

Baby Boy Sanchez was cruelly put to death at the hands of his own mother in a portable toilet (“Little Life Lost: A Pastor Alone Attends the Funeral of an Abandoned Newborn,” Aug. 14). This side of heaven, he never knew the joys of running, laughing and playing that every child was created to know. I just thank God that his every tear is wiped away as he is comforted by his heavenly Father, and that his pain is now over forever.
It’s strange. His mother could have legally sought and had an abortion, because the law protects her right and her choice.
Our nation is supposed to stand for liberty and justice for all. It’s time we, as a people, cut the rhetoric and halt this heinous, hellish baby-killing called abortion and protect all stages of life, born or unborn.
