Countywide : Man Found Guilty in Bank Robberies
A 29-year-old Camarillo man has been convicted of robbing four financial institutions in Ventura County last year, authorities said.
Raymond James Hoslett was found guilty Tuesday of 1990 robberies of the Bank of America, 307 E. Ojai Ave., Ojai, on Jan. 4; American Commercial Bank, 304 E. Main St., Ventura, on Jan. 9; Home Savings of America, 2115 S. Victoria Ave., Ventura, on Feb. 8, and Santa Barbara Savings & Loan, 350 Esplanade Drive, Oxnard, on Feb. 8, authorities said.
Hoslett was arrested after FBI agents showed pictures taken by bank cameras during the robberies to authorities throughout the county, who recognized Hoslett.
Sentencing is scheduled Nov. 27. Hoslett could receive a maximum of 20 years and a $5,000 fine for each robbery, officials said.
