Man Chased Into Back Yard and Shot to Death

A man was shot to death Tuesday in the back yard of a home in the South-Central area after he was chased by a gunman, authorities said.
The victim, whose name was not released, was chased by an unidentified man into the back yard of a home in the 5800 block of South Olive Street at 10:30 p.m., Lt. Connie Dial said.
The victim, described as being in his 20s, was shot several times and pronounced dead at the scene, she said. “Neighbors heard several shots and found the dead man,” Dial said.
