School Board and Community College District Candidates

The following candidates have filed for the Nov. 5 school board elections. The regular filing deadline was Friday, Aug. 9. The deadline was extended to 5 p.m. Wednesday for those districts where incumbents did not file for reelection. Districts without challenges to incumbents will have no elections unless prospective candidates submitted petitions by 5 p.m. Wednesday. Those districts are: Downey Unified, East Whittier City and Los Nietos.

In cases where candidates could not be reached for comment, the information listed is taken from campaign filing applications submitted to the county by the candidates.
