A fair by night has its own special charm. The familiar sights and smells are there, from the cotton candy and caramel corn to the sawdust and livestock, but when the sun sets and the neon of the carnival rides begins to glow, the Orange County Fair takes on a new look. The Ferris wheels and the stomach-churning thrill rides become a colorful vortex of light, illuminating the midway world.
