Santa Monica : Cleaner Buses Get Funds

The City Council approved more than $2.1 million for 10 new buses for Santa Monica Tuesday night.
The buses will have automatic engine exhaust systems that collect the smoke from the engine and oxidize the particles. The system reduces exhaust by more than 85%.
