IBM, Tandon to Share Technology: Electronics giant IBM and Tandon Corp. said they will share technology being developed for personal computers and software. International Business Machines Corp., based in Armonk, N.Y., and Tandon, of Moorpark, entered into a cross-licensing patent agreement. It covers technology and advances being developed under patents filed before July 1, 1996. Under standard contract language, the agreement releases the companies from all past claims for patent infringement. The shared patents relate to personal computers, desktop workstation applications and IBM’s Micro Channel architecture.
