American Ecology Reports Flat 2nd-Quarter Profit
American Ecology Corp., an Agoura Hills-based waste management concern, reported that its profit for the second quarter that ended June 30 was flat compared with a year earlier at $1.69 million. Revenues, however, declined 5% to $13.4 million from $14.1 million.
For the six months that ended June 30, American Ecology earned $2.43 million, up 72% from $1.42 million a year earlier. Revenues increased 10% to $24.5 million from $22.2 million.
