Boxing Night to Be Held Friday

The annual Carson Youth Boxing Night will be held Friday at the Carson Community Center.

A $15 ticket covers the 7 p.m. dinner and an evening of amateur bouts featuring competitors from Carson against boxers from visiting clubs.

Celebrities expected to attend include former Laker Norm Nixon and actor Lou Gossett. The evening, co-sponsored by the Carson Parks and Recreation Department and Coors, will start at 6 p.m. with a social hour. Information and reservations: (213) 830-7895.
